Point32Health, a major New England health insurance company that serves more than two million people, has been impacted by a ransomware attack. Point32Health provides health plans to people in Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, including those eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.

Massachusetts’ second-largest insurer, Point32Health, suffered large technical outages due to a cybersecurity ransomware incident on Monday that has also affected the company’s New Hampshire customers.
