Senate rejects GOP and Democratic ACA subsidy extender bills

A Republican extender bill received only 51 of the votes needed to reach the Senate floor and attracted no Democratic support.
A Democratic bill also failed to reach the Senate floor but received support from four Republicans.
A new extender bill in the House has 22 Democratic cosponsors and 15 Republican cosponsors.
