The House Judiciary Committee sent out the subpoenas.
The list of recipients includes Blue Shield of California, Centene, GuideWell, Health Care Service Corp, Kaiser and Oscar as well as CVS and Elevance.
In August, a federal court blocked Trump administration efforts to impose new eligibility verification requirements.
