The new final rule was developed by DOL, IRS and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services officials.
Regulators will create an IDR Gateway system to administer No Surprises Act claim disputes.
Plans and insurers will have to use standard codes when communicating with out-of-network providers about claims.
