The House Education and the Workforce Committee voted Wednesday to advance a resolution to overturn the Department of Labor's new fiduciary rule, which is also facing two lawsuits filed in federal courts.

The ruling could help employers that sue over the final non-quantitative treatment limitations under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.

The issue was determining how exactly a doctor who vanished while mountain climbing died.

The federal government might consider regulatory measures to oversee such transactions more closely.
