HOUSTON, Texas – Auto Financial Group, an online provider of residual-based financing products for credit unions, has released an advanced software program the company says allows for easier accessibility to vehicle customization, loan calculators and electronic loan documents.
Driving SenseT, an HTML-based program, is faster, easier to maneuver and is more comprehensive than its predecessor, an Adobe Acrobat version of the product. It can be accessed directly through a credit union's Web site, thus producing real time quotes without the need of doing software downloads.
CU members can also input vehicle preferences, including rates, terms, options and submit actual quotes that can be retrieved by credit union staff.

Driving Sense allows CU management to add or delete users, edit data, set default interest rates or add credit life, and consequently provides CUs increased control of information.
The software program also includes a referral function allowing credit unions to pull detailed search information entered by members so loan officers can follow up.
Ten Auto Financial Group-participating credit unions are already using Driving Sense. They include: Shell Employees FCU; Cameron FCU; Enron FCU; Medical Community CU; 1st Community CU; Midland Teachers CU; South Texas Educators CU; United Heritage CU; Vought Heritage Community CU; and Shell FCU.
