ASPPA taps Robert Richter as its 2011-12 president

The American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries has inaugurated Robert Richter as 2011-2012 president of the organization during the opening session of ASPPA's annual conference at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Md.

The American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries has inaugurated Robert Richter as 2011-12 president of the organization during the opening session of ASPPA's annual conference at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Md.

Richter is a vice president at SunGard in Jacksonville, Fla., where he manages the consulting department for the Relius solution. There, he is responsible for drafting and supporting qualified retirement plans, cafeteria plans and self-funded health plans. ASPPA says he is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to cafeteria plans and qualified retirement plans.

Richter has served on numerous ASPPA committees and serves on the Board of Managers of AIRE.
