After reviewing assembly and senate bills, Compliance Poster Company's legal research team found the state of California is releasing up to four mandatory-to-post labor law changes that must be displayed in the workplace for employees to see.

As part of the new changes, employers must display the Discrimination and Harassment in Employment are Prohibited by Law poster, Notice A Pregnancy Disability Leave poster, and Notice B Family Care and Medical Leave (CFRA Leave) and Pregnancy Disability Leave poster.

The California Discrimination notice is to include a mandatory change that adds gender, gender identity and gender expression to the list of protected. This is effective beginning Jan. 1, 2012.
