Nevin Adams was named director of the American Savings Education Council, a program of the nonpartisan Employee Benefit Research Institute, as part of his responsibilities as director of education and external relations at EBRI.
The American Savings Education Council is a partnership of public- and private-sector organizations working to increase financial capability.
"Nevin brought his decades of savings/financial/retirement program experience to EBRI and these programs when he joined EBRI last year, and he will ensure that they continue to be stellar programs in the future," noted Dallas Salisbury, EBRI president and CEO.

"The importance of saving—and the challenges of financial literacy—are particularly crucial during this period of financial stress," said Adams. "ASEC has been a key resource on these issues since 1995."
The Employee Benefit Research Institute is a private, nonprofit research institute based in Washington, DC, that focuses on health, savings, retirement, and economic security issues.
