LIMRA's interactive retirement tool, Ready-2-Retire, won a silver award from Horizon Interactive Awards in the category of educational mobile apps for 2011.
Ready-2-Retire is an interactive media tool that allows consumers to envision how they might live in retirement by asking questions in a simple manner that helps the consumer establish goals, set priorities and understand risks in retirement. The software then produces a personal retirement profile summarizing the investor's desired retirement lifestyle plan, level of retirement preparedness, topics for review, and next steps.
Horizon Interactive Awards is an international interactive media awards competition. A panel of judges, made up of industry professionals, consider the creativity and originality, overall appearance and user experience, communication of message, technical merit and effectiveness. Those entries considered to be the "best of the best" are then recognized on an international stage for their excellence.
