Since the introduction of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, an enormous amount of time and resources have been dedicated to saving money while simultaneously trying to raise the quality of American health care. So far, the results have been mixed, and health care costs remain one of the biggest challenges facing Americans today. Going forward, brokers will continue to play a key role in the ongoing struggle to control costs, from doing their part in the battle over the future of PPACA to helping businesses and employees with the daily decisions that will make them better consumers.
