Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, age 79, has died.
He was found dead at a West Texas resort earlier this morning, according to a statement from Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr.
No cause of death was released as of Saturday afternoon.

He was known for his conservative philosophy and biting commentary. He advocated for originalism, the idea that one should seek to interpret the Constitution by trying to understand what the founding fathers intended and apply that to current times.
In the June 2015 ruling on King vs. Burwell where the Supreme Court considered a provision in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act regarding subsidies, he was one of three judges to dissent, calling the majority decision for PPACA "interpretive jiggery-pokery."
