Well, it’s that time of year again. Open enrollment will be here faster than we realize. While benefits professionals are busy putting together an all-star lineup of health plans and voluntary options to suit every employees’ unique needs, they may overlook one important detail: employees don’t actually know what they need. According to research from DirectPath, 25 percent of employees need help understanding basic health care terms, and 32 percent are confused by voluntary benefits.
