Ginsburg, 87, died Friday Sept. 18 from complications of metastatic pancreas cancer, according to a court spokeswoman. Ginsburg became a cultural icon of sorts during her career, appearing on T-shirts, in a Lego set, and was portrayed in shows such as "Saturday Night Live."
