House Ways & Means approves increase in tax-exempt hospital reporting requirements

What You Need To Know

All Republicans who participated voted for the bill, and all Democrats opposed it.
The American Hospital Association says it would apply to about two-thirds of all hospitals.
Some provisions would apply only to hospitals with more than 100 beds or more than $100 million in net patient revenue.
