Surveys have long noted greater degrees of financial confidence among men than women. This confidence gap closes, however, when women receive financial advice.
The latest evidence of the march to alternatives comes from Cerulli Associates, which expects that alternative mutual funds will comprise close to 14 percent of all mutual fund assets in the next 10 years.
More than 42 percent of the surveyed group had a post-65 to pre-65 income ratio of 80 percent or greater.
