A bright spot in these uncertain times is that many companies that touch on the employee benefits industry are creating tools and products to help people deal with COVID-19. Here's a sampling of what came across our (remote) desk:

SWORD Health announced the launch of a virtual event aggregator, SessionBot. It brings together virtual sessions from employee benefits and digital health conferences such as the recently-cancelled Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference, National Business Group on Health conference and the Conference Board's Employee Healthcare Conference, and standalone vendor sessions.The initiative will run for at least the Spring conference season.

SixFifty announced the release of free automated legal tools to help businesses manage coronavirus-related employment issues. The COVID-19 tools include automated policies developed by Wilson Sonsini's  employment attorneys and a questionnaire system that can gather information from employees impacted by COVID-19, manage tasks and automate important communications. Companies can track each response, create workflows to address any issues that arise and automate employee communications.
