Large employers and health plans offering HSA-eligible plans have expanded pre-deductible coverage for medications and services that prevent the exacerbation of chronic conditions, which has minimal impact on premiums.
"These trends further reinforce stark differences in community wellbeing across the nation, including high variability across key individual wellbeing factors and social determinants that define the overall circumstance of where individuals live, work and play," the Sharecare Community Wellbeing Index says.
"There has been a meaningful reduction in state pension funded status. The number of states that were above 90% as of the end of 2021 was 17. We are projecting for 2022 that it's going to be down to just seven," says Anthony Randazzo, executive director of the Equable Institute.
