AstraZeneca has now become the second largest drug maker to agree to offer consumers deep discounts through direct-sales arrangements.

The plaintiffs alleged that the insurer misled members with lists of in-network providers that turned out to be unreachable, out-of-network or non-existent.

The new "revenue procedure" provides parameters for benefits arrangements such as cafeteria plans and qualified small employer health reimbursements.
