The court temporarily halted a motion on Friday from six states filing to stop the new program, just days after people began applying for loan forgiveness and a day after the Supreme Court rejected another challenge to the program.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett issued the denial without comment one day after a group of Wisconsin taxpayers filed the appeal challenging the plan.

Half of voters now say the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade has made them more motivated to vote in this year's elections, up from 43% in July.

"Given the workforce and capacity shortages in care, it's important that patients receive the appropriate level of care, helping to preserve higher levels of care for those who need it most," David Allen, an AHIP spokesperson, says.

This year's honorees consist of top-performing individuals and firms selected by a distinguished and diverse team of industry leaders.

CMS officials say they expect to collect more than $600 million in overpayments from the audits.
