The pandemic changed the way the world approaches work. It brought to light the need for better work-life balance, hybrid/remote working options and better employee benefits packages. As the job market continues to lean in favor of employees, companies must fight to get the talent. In order to attract and retain employees, employers are looking to their company's benefits packages to do the job. New research from Remote reveals the benefits that potential and current employees are looking for across genders, job roles, and industries. The most desired benefits across all industries and job roles is overtime pay (79.3%). Health insurance (private, family, dental, and vision) was among the top 10 benefits, which illustrates the need for good health care that is covered by the employer. Further, the industry that values private health insurance the most is IT and telecommunications. In the battle for talent, modern and inclusive benefits can go a long way. Related:
