Executives from Centene Corp. told Wall Street securities analysts today that they expect their high-performing Affordable Care Act public exchange plan business to continue to do well in 2018, even if the cost-sharing reduction subsidy goes away.

The deal includes funding for insurer subsidies for two years, with unspecified pro-life protections; pausing Obamacares requirements that all people have health insurance and that employers offer it; and increasing the contribution limit for health-savings accounts.

Congress is trying to ram through a bill that would reshape the U.S. economy in just a few short weeks, but its leaders have kept the plan shrouded in secrecy and released not a word of legislative text. Sound familiar?
