GOP senators have unveiled an alternative plan to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that would scrap the laws mandates but still offer tax credits for people buying private insurance.

Anthem Inc. said hackers obtained data on tens of millions of current and former customers and employees in a sophisticated attack that has led to a Federal Bureau of Investigation probe.

The loss widened to $1.46 billion from $460 million a year earlier, the Newark, New Jersey-based insurer said.
